A statement painting celebrating the power of the glacier. One of my largest paintings so far; it was a full-body experience creating these marks just like the hike. Inspired by La Jonction, one of the classics of the Mont Blanc Massif, joining the Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers.

Inspired by one of my first climbs in the Alps many moons ago; the Dent du Geant (the giant’s tooth).

This painting is on board without glass - encouraging touch and feel; an emotional and direct experience. The passage of time and the weathered surfaces of nature are reflected in the rich texture and natural surfaces. Mixed media, paint and collage are combined to create a journey for the onlooker.
